Russell is an enthusiastic coach who loves to push his students to develop their technical and tactical aspects of their game and wants them to feel that they have been pushed physically as well. He believes tennis lessons should be enjoyable and fun, whilst learning new skills. He wants those taking lessons to love tennis, just like he does.
Russell is professional, reliable and friendly and has experience in coaching all ages from 3 to 70 years old, both individually and in groups.
Allan Morton
LTC CCA Performance Coach
07932 057672
Allan joined Tennis England in July 2013 and works closely with the performance players at the club as well as mini tennis players through to teenagers and adults. He is a great communicator with children and adults and believes that movement is a key area all players need to work on. His sessions involve high energy and drills that get players working in all areas of the court.
Allan is available for one to one private lessons or for two players sharing a lesson.
Coaching Programmes:
Tennis Whizz Classes is a new and exciting class for your young ones, inspiring pre-school (2-4yrs) children through play and imagination. Each class is based on a story and they do activities and tennis drills that relate to different parts of the story. The stories range from pirate adventures, Into the Dragon’s Castle, Adventures with Dinosaurs and many more!
Mini Red/Orange/Green Classes are the different age groups and the colour is the reference of the type of ball they use and the size of the court.
Mini Red tennis where the balls are bigger and bounce slower to allow the child time to develop their technique on their shots and make it easier whilst playing on a small court.
Mini Orange tennis is the next progression where they play on a ¾ court with balls that are smaller and move slightly faster than the red balls.
Tennis Green is back on the full court with a green ball that is same size as normal hard tennis balls but bounce slower than hard balls to make the transition easier to the full court.
We are also involved in:
- Mini Tennis Awards System
- LTA Match Plays in Coaching
- Organising matches against other clubs in the ESG League
- Middlesex Junior Summer League
