NPL TENNIS FINALS DAY

 

Saturday 5 September

start 1 pm

 

 

A reminder to all members that this year the finals of all six club competitions take place at NPL on Saturday 5 September, starting at 1pm.

 

As is usually the case, many matches have not been played according to the schedule. Can all concerned (and that includes me!) make sure that the outstanding games are cleared by next Thursday.

 

Could all of last year’s winners also please make sure that the trophies come back to Veena or myself – cleaned and polished!

 

The order of play is:

 

1pm                Ladies’ Singles and Men’s Singles

 

                     

 

2.30 app      Ladies’ Doubles and Men’s Doubles

    

            

 

4.00 app       Mixed Doubles and Mixed Plate

              

 

An afternoon tea will be provided!

 

All members are cordially invited. A big turn out always makes for a great occasion and gets the players’ adrenalin going even more than usual. We also need as much help as we can get with line-judging, fetching balls and keeping the orange juice jugs topped up! All volunteers welcome.
